
As a Co-Founder of Pinnacle Performance Company, G. Riley Mills has trained executives from some of the most influential companies in North America, Asia and Europe. He has also worked as a professional actor and writer since 1987. Television credits include episodes of ER, Early Edition and Missing Persons. Film credits include lead roles in The Home Coming from World Wide Pictures and the award-winning 35 Miles from Normal, which premiered at the 1997 Sundance Film Festival. Mills has also appeared in television commercials for Nike, McDonald's, Lincoln-Mercury, Levis, Pacificare and Morningstar Farms, among others.
As a writer, Mills and his frequent collaborator, Ralph Covert, have twice been awarded the Joseph Jefferson Citation (Chicago’s Tony Award) for Best New Work. Mills began writing for the professional theatre at age 17. Since then his work has been produced on stages across the country and as far away as Australia. He has two published books, Sawdust and Spangles and A Nutty Nutcracker Christmas.
Over the course of his career Mills has worked professionally with the likes of Michael Jordan, Ewan MacGregor, Juliana Marguilies, Fisher Stevens, Scott Lowell, Penelope Milford, Kyle Chandler, Scottie Pippen and Jason Alexander, among others.
Currently Mills and co-founder David Lewis are working on a book based on the award winning Pinnacle Method, “The Pin Drop Principle”, due out from publisher Jossey-Bass™ spring 2012.
Mills received a BFA from The Theatre School, DePaul University. He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
